• Clean surgical instruments and endoscopy instrumentation that came into contact with animal bodily fluids.
• Pack, check, and sterilize surgical instruments, endoscopy instrumentation, and various dry goods using specific lists and directions.
• Enter charges in Vet View.
• Fill requests from doctors, students, and staff for materials, instruments, and dry goods.
• Fill orders and deliver to appropriate areas; enter charges into Vet View.
• Put up stock, create stock requests, collect medical waste, and box for disposal.
• Change clipper blades daily and clippers weekly throughout the hospital.
• Assist in taking incremental inventory of medical instruments.

Time allocation: approximately 50% for instrument sterilization and charge entry; 25% for order fulfillment and delivery; 25% for inventory, waste collection, and maintenance.
