HORSEMEN INVESTIGATIONS & SECURITY is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Athens, GA. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in keeping people, property, and assets safe while working with a respected security firm. • Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
• Conduct regular security checks of buildings, entrances, and perimeters
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following proper protocols
• Document and report suspicious activity, security breaches, and daily observations in incident reports
• Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor entry
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
• Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter criminal activity

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Georgia Security Guard license or ability to obtain one
• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus
• Strong observational and situational awareness skills
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
• Clean background check and professional demeanor
