As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Athens, GA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support patients, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thu 2:00 PM–10:00 PM;
Fri 10:00 PM–6:00 AM;
Sat 2:00 PM–10:00 PM;
Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by assisting with directions, visitor access practices, and other security-related duties aligned with site expectations.

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
