- Apartment Maintenance: Perform general apartment repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and building systems.
- Service Requests: Respond promptly to maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Property Upkeep: Maintain the property, including buildings, grounds, and amenities to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment.
- Inventory & Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly stored and in good working condition.
- Compliance: Follow OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations to ensure safety and compliance at all times.
- High school diploma or GED required
- HVAC experience preferred; EPA certification (Type II or Universal) preferred
- Proficiency in general apartment maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other building systems
- Previous maintenance experience, preferably in the multi-family industry
- Ability to take after-hours calls as needed
- Basic tools and reliable transportation required
- Effective communication skills for interactions with residents, employees, and vendors
- Physical ability to walk the property regularly, climb stairs and ladders, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and work in various weather conditions and heights
- Willingness to adhere to OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations
