As a Technician in Facility Services, Power Washing Exterior Services, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our retail locations. This position requires a hands‑on approach, operating and maintaining pressure washing equipment to clean various surfaces, including walls, sidewalks, roofs, parking lots, and more.
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and efficient Technician, Facility Services, Irrigation Exterior Services to join our team in Athens, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing irrigation systems for our facilities, ensuring proper landscaping and water conservation practices are implemented.
Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for exterior landscapes
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation equipment and perform preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with irrigation systems, including sprinklers, valves, and controllers
- Program and adjust irrigation controllers to optimize water usage and comply with local regulations
- Collaborate with the landscaping team to ensure proper watering schedules for different plant types
- Monitor water consumption and implement water conservation strategies
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications
- Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in irrigation technology and water management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in facility services or irrigation systems maintenance
- In‑depth knowledge of irrigation systems, including sprinklers, valves, and controllers
- Proficiency in using and programming irrigation control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and landscaping plans
- Familiarity with water conservation practices and local water regulations
- Experience with hand and power tools used in irrigation system maintenance
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications in irrigation systems or landscaping (preferred)
