Sigma Inc. is hiring an experienced Painter for a 6-month contract position in Athens, GA. This role is ideal for skilled professionals with strong experience in drywall repair, painting, and general maintenance within commercial or industrial facilities.
If you have hands-on expertise in interior painting, ceiling repairs, and light facility maintenance, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities- Perform interior painting on walls and ceilings
- Complete drywall repair, patching, and finishing
- Apply caulking and surface preparation for painting projects
- Conduct light maintenance repairs including sinks and toilets
- Troubleshoot minor facility issues and perform general upkeep
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Assist with general shop support tasks as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in painting and drywall repair
- Strong knowledge of surface prep, finishing, and repair techniques
- Ability to handle basic plumbing repairs (sink/toilet troubleshooting)
- Experience working in commercial, industrial, or facility environments preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
