Duties/Responsibilities- Maintenance of ongoing research, including watering, fertilizing, pruning and cleaning plants; planting and propagating plants as needed; weeding potted plants; moving plant collections. Percentage of time: 50
- Routine greenhouse cleaning, including cleaning cooling tanks and systems; sweeping, washing floors, walls and benches; cleaning exterior walkways and storage areas. Percentage of time: 35
- Routine grounds maintenance around greenhouses and adjacent areas, weed control, removal of leaves and plant debris. Percentage of time: 5
- Set up or preparation for events and programs, including stage setup for ceremonies and delivering plants as needed. Percentage of time: 5
- Maintenance of headhouse and greenhouse storage facilities; assisting with cleaning/organization of labs and storage; assisting with various headhouse maintenance projects. Percentage of time: 5

Position Summary: Plant Growth Facilities student worker needed ASAP for weekday and weekend plant maintenance duties and other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Help with weekend watering duties in rotation with others.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: Enthusiasm and interest in plants; prior greenhouse and growth chamber training and education preferred.
