PositionNorth Georgia Mechanical Services is ready to hire a qualified Concrete/General Laborer with Welding Experience.
Responsibilities and QualificationsWillingness to perform general construction tasks from steel and concrete demolition and construction to form work and structural steel installation.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
- Welding skills are a plus, specifically stick welding.
- Job is typically 70% prep for installation of steel (including stainless) then 30% welding.
- Equipment operation, such as:
Skid Steer, Forklift, Scissor lift, Boom lift, Demo Saws, and Concrete Saws is a plus but not required.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to:
- Stand
- Walk
- Sit
- Use hands to handle or feel
- Reach with hands and arms
- Climb or balance
- Stoop
- Kneel

- Talk and Hear
The employee must be able to frequently lift or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision. Sight awareness is required.
Work Environment- The environments range from cold and dry to hot and humid and will include work outdoors and in inclement weather. This environment could be noisy and may contain stimuli such as flashing lights and strong odors.
