Facilities Maintenance Technician
This role focuses on maintaining and repairing production equipment and facility systems within a brewery environment. You will troubleshoot and service hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems on manufacturing machinery, while also performing scheduled preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly and reduce downtime.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems on manufacturing machinery such as fillers, packers, labelers, and conveyors.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with facility equipment to minimize production interruptions and improve equipment reliability.
- Create, schedule, and perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) tasks on production and facility equipment.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, including mechanical components and related systems.
- Perform boiler maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Service and maintain pumps and heat exchangers to support production processes.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair 3-phase motors and related electrical components.
- Support HVAC maintenance and basic troubleshooting within the facility.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used in a clear and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with production and other teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and support continuous operation.
- Proven facility maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic systems.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems.
- Experience with equipment repair on manufacturing machinery such as fillers, packers, labelers, and conveyors.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including work with 3-phase motors.
- Experience with conveyor maintenance, including inspection, repair, and adjustment.
- Experience with boiler maintenance and safe operation practices.
- Experience maintaining and repairing pumps and heat exchangers.
- Basic HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and perform preventative maintenance routines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a brewery or similar production environment.
- General facility maintenance, including mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.
- Comfort working with control valves and performing control valve repair.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and maintenance documentation.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with production and maintenance teams.

WorkEnvironment
This role is based in a brewery facility that is not climate controlled, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. You will work around production equipment such as fillers, packers, labelers, conveyors, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, and HVAC systems. The position offers two shift options: a day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and a second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The environment is hands-on, industrial, and fast-paced, requiring appropriate safety awareness and readiness to work in a manufacturing setting.
