This position requires onsite work with the work model noted as Onsite. The role description includes the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and onboarding of digital solutions, supporting adoption into customer environments and ongoing operations and maintenance. You will participate in ideation work streams from identifying and validating needs to defining development.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and onboarding of digital solutions.
  • Support the adoption of digital platforms and solutions into the customer business environment, including ongoing operations and maintenance.
  • Contribute to ideation work streams from identifying and validating needs to defining development.
  • Perform a variety of software engineering tasks in areas such as software development, software quality engineering, software testing, Dev Ops, cybersecurity, software release, support and maintenance, and/or release management with limited supervision.
  • Test and troubleshoot final system setup, train customers, retrain as needed, and provide ongoing support and services.
  • Ensure required resources are in place to implement software on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to the software product roadmap by suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with focus on software development, automation systems, or engineering application design; 2–3 years of experience in software development and system integration, delivering full-stack or service-oriented solutions with measurable impact leveraging C#, .NET.
  • Experience in Windows and Linux software development, with the ability and willingness to learn new languages and technologies as needed.
  • Collaborative and innovative, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams to improve system quality, reliability, and development efficiency.
  • Preferred Experience: C, Python, RESTful API design, databases, and CI/CD pipelines; strong understanding of tools and frameworks used in engineering systems, automation, and R&D software development.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization to work for ABB in the US.
