Our client is a global pharmacovigilance solutions provider, specializing in innovative software and consulting services for drug safety and risk management. Their mission is to enhance compliance, productivity, and quality across the pharmaceutical industry by delivering modernized, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

The project focuses on consolidating and modernizing the application, integrating existing components into a unified system using Java and Spring Boot. The client currently operates a hybrid architecture, with newer Spring Boot services alongside legacy Groovy/Grails components. The goal is to fully migrate to Java, improving performance, maintainability, and user experience while leveraging AWS cloud services for scalability.

• Develop new features and services while assisting in the migration of Groovy/Grails components to Spring Boot;
• Reverse‑engineer existing Groovy code to integrate it into the new system;
• Ensure high code quality, maintaining adherence to best practices for all newly developed code;
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to implement industry best practices in software development;
• Work closely with Dev Ops to ensure smooth integration with CI/CD pipelines, including SAST and DAST security checks;
• Optimize database queries and integration with Oracle DB or other SQL‑based databases;
• Enhance system performance and scalability using AWS services such as Lambda, Elasticsearch, and Redis;
• Coordinate with Front‑End developers (Angular
  
  JS) to ensure smooth back‑end integration and data flow;

• 2+ years of experience in enterprise‑level software development;
• Strong expertise in Java 11+ and Spring Boot;
• Experience with microservices architecture and designing scalable applications;
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle DB or any SQL‑based database;
• Practical knowledge of AWS services for cloud‑based development;
• Ability to analyze user requirements, create use cases, and develop effective solutions;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs;
• English proficiency from B1+ for effective team collaboration and client communication;
