Responsibilities- Safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters (80% of time).
- Wash buses and perform other non‑driving related duties as required from time to time (10% of time).
- Complete paperwork associated with assignments (5% of time).
- Attend safety meetings as occasionally scheduled (5% of time).
Must be capable of safe operation of buses on campus routes and occasional charters. Must complete paperwork associated with assignments and follow written and verbal instructions from supervisory personnel. Occasional bus washing and other non‑driving tasks are required from time to time. Applicants must submit to drug and alcohol testing as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Successful recruits will train for and receive a Commercial Driver’s License with a Class B Passenger Endorsement.
Ability to demonstrate a safe driving record, good communication skills, and the ability to work with people of various backgrounds and skill levels.
Physical DemandsSitting for long periods of time, pushing, pulling, reaching, and driving.
