Responsibility & ScopeEnsure the safe, timely, and fully compliant shipment of research, development, and clinical trial materials to domestic and international sites and study locations. Manage end‑to‑end logistics, maintain strict adherence to U.S. Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations, and support technical operations by coordinating the movement of regulated materials with accuracy, documentation integrity, and exceptional attention to detail.
Monitor and maintain chain of custody documentation during receipt, shipment, transfer, return, & disposal. Ensure appropriate product storage conditions are maintained throughout the material transfer process. Ensure proper records maintenance (e.g., COA/COC, MSDS, NOS, label approval, shipment manifest) per relevant SOP's, internal policies & study protocols. Comply with applicable regulations including but not limited to FDA, CVM, CFR, USDOT, USDA, IATA & USFAA.
Responsibilities
May lead special projects, internal audits and non‑routine activities, as needed or requested. Possesses the ability to set up and execute shipments from start to finish and coordinate with the appropriate personnel to ensure timelines are met.
Governance & StandardsThe output of this role is governed by regulatory GXP requirements, US and international shipping regulations, and BI quality standards globally.
