The City of Athens, Ohio is now seeking candidates for the part-time position of Community Center Building Supervisor for the Arts, Parks, and Recreation Department. This is a part-time, year round position in the Community Center, which operates seven days a week. Shifts will range from as early as 6 a.m. and as late as 8 p.m. seven days a week.

Saturday and Sunday hours will be occasionally required. The starting hourly pay is $12. This position is covered by the Fair Labor Standards Act. At least a one year commitment is preferred.

Community Center Building Supervisors are responsible for assisting front desk staff, supervising the functions of the facility by making rounds, setting up and taking down tables and chairs for rentals and special events, and being the main point of contact when full time staff is not in the building. Ability to problem solve, work directly with the public in a friendly and professional manner, and perform many different functions is essential.
