Preferred Qualifications Position Summary

At the Georgia Center, the Banquet Captain assists the banquet team to create the optimal atmosphere for large events and meetings. The incumbent is responsible for event set‑up, running events, helping direct banquet staff, along with maintenance; and the breakdown of meeting and banquet rooms according to department standards. Handling cash/credit cards may be required at times.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
  • Thorough knowledge of the material methods and equipment used in setting large scale events.
  • Help set up workstations with all needed supplies and equipment.
