We are seeking an experienced EHS Site Auditor to support Ericsson project locations by conducting field safety audits, reviewing hazard assessment documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable EHS standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong construction safety, facility auditing, hazard assessment, and EHS compliance experience and be comfortable traveling to rural and remote project locations.
- Minimum 5 years of experience reviewing hazard assessment documentation, including:
- Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
- Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Pre-Task Plans (PTP)
- Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA)
- Similar safety/hazard assessment documentation
- Minimum 5 years of field Construction Safety Supervisor experience.
- Minimum 5 years of EHS facility auditing and EHS program experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel to rural and remote project locations.
- CHST, ISO 45001, or equivalent EHS/safety certification preferred/required.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, EHS regulations, hazard identification, and corrective action processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document and communicate safety findings.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Ericsson project locations and site requirements.
- Travel to tower sites, construction sites, and facility locations to conduct EHS audits and inspections.
- Review Ericsson employees' and subcontractors' work environments, work practices, tools, equipment, inspections, and JHA/JSA documentation.
- Identify and document:
- Hazardous conditions
- EHS non-compliance
- Deficiencies in safety documentation and processes
- Conduct EHS facility audits to verify compliance with:
- Federal regulations
- State and local requirements
- Company EHS policies
- ISO 45001 standards
- Document and communicate all safety issues and non-compliance findings to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Track and document immediate resolutions and corrective actions performed at project locations.
- Recognize and document employees, subcontractors, or project teams demonstrating strong EHS performance and safety achievements.
- Create and continuously maintain a trending log to identify recurring safety issues and patterns.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend long-term corrective and preventive actions.
- Follow up on corrective actions to ensure identified EHS issues are properly addressed.
- Promote a strong safety culture across Ericsson employees and subcontractor teams.
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification.
- ISO 45001 certification or experience with ISO 45001 auditing.
- Experience supporting telecommunications, wireless, tower construction, or field construction projects.
- Experience auditing subcontractors and field construction activities.
- Knowledge of OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local safety requirements.
- Experience with EHS reporting, corrective action tracking, and safety trend analysis.
