EHS Site Auditor
We are seeking an experienced EHS Site Auditor to conduct safety and compliance audits at telecommunications tower sites, construction projects, and facility locations. This position will evaluate employee and subcontractor work practices, equipment, documentation, and overall jobsite conditions to ensure compliance with Ericsson requirements and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a thorough understanding of Ericsson project and facility locations.
- Travel to telecommunications tower sites, construction projects, and other facilities.
- Observe Ericsson employees and subcontractors to evaluate work practices and overall EHS compliance.
- Inspect jobsite conditions, tools, equipment, safety inspections, and hazard-assessment documentation.
- Review JHAs, JSAs, PTPs, AHAs, and similar safety documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify hazardous acts, unsafe conditions, behavioral concerns, and regulatory noncompliance.
- Conduct facility audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Document and communicate all identified safety concerns and compliance issues.
- Record corrective actions and resolutions completed during the audit.
- Recognize employees, subcontractors, and teams demonstrating outstanding EHS performance.
- Create and maintain a trending log of recurring issues.
- Analyze audit trends and recommend long-term corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare clear, accurate, and timely audit reports for project stakeholders.
- At least five years of experience reviewing JHAs, JSAs, PTPs, AHAs, or comparable hazard-assessment documentation.
- At least five years of experience as a Construction Safety Supervisor or in a similar field-safety leadership position.
- At least five years of experience conducting EHS facility audits and supporting safety programs.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 standards and occupational health and safety management systems.
- CHST, ISO 45001, or an equivalent safety certification.
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently to rural and remote locations.
- Strong observation, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and professionally with employees, subcontractors, and project leadership.
- Telecommunications, tower construction, or wireless infrastructure experience.
- Experience auditing subcontractor safety performance.
- Experience identifying compliance trends and developing corrective-action recommendations.
- Familiarity with OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety requirements.
This position requires frequent travel to tower sites, construction projects, and facilities, including locations in rural or remote areas.
