OB/GYN Physician, Medical Doctor
A well-established OB Hospitalist program in Athens, Ohio is seeking Board Certified OB/GYN physicians for locum coverage. This collaborative program partners closely with community obstetricians, family medicine physicians, and subspecialists to deliver high-quality, coordinated maternity care while improving patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Position HighlightsCoverage: ASAP and ongoing
Schedule: 24-hour in-house shifts
Flexible scheduling designed to support work-life balance
Collaborative environment with strong community OB partnerships
Comprehensive OB triage and inpatient coverage
Provide OB triage, admissions, and inpatient care
Manage labor and delivery for hospitalized patients
Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for obstetric and gynecologic emergencies
Manage OB/GYN patients presenting to the emergency department
Coordinate care with office-based physicians regarding triage visits, new issues, and deliveries
Participate in a multidisciplinary OB critical care environment
Board Certified in OB/GYN
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience
Ohio medical license preferred (or in process / IMLC eligible)
NPDB self-query within 30 days
CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
Completed prescreen questionnaire
