Permanent Medical Director Hospitalist Pediatric

Shift: 24/7 on-call coverage; round and go model with call from home; approximately 7 shifts per month
- Patient Population:
Pediatric and newborn nursery - Setting:
Hospital-based pediatric hospitalist service - Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists, provide newborn nursery care, perform pediatric consultations for the Emergency Department, perform circumcisions, collaborate with Neonatologists, and participate in quality improvement initiatives - Required Procedures:
Circumcisions and pediatric inpatient care - EMR System:
- Support Staff: 3 Pediatric Hospitalists with Neonatology support
- Days Per Month:
Approximately 7 shifts - On-Call/Weekends: 24/7 call coverage with round and go model from home
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified in Pediatrics
- Ohio license (or willing to obtain)
- DEA prior to start
- NPDB Self Query within 30 days
- Leadership experience preferred
