Per Diem Pediatric Hospitalist Opportunities Available in Southeast Ohio - Apply Today!

• Provide newborn nursery care at Ohio Health Athens Hospital with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists; no pediatric floor coverage required.
• Work 24-hour shifts of rounding plus offsite call.
• Perform circumcisions.
• Offer pediatric consultations to the emergency department, including assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research projects.
• Exchange best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs.

• Board Certified in Pediatrics required.
• Minimum of 1 year post-residency clinical experience required.
• Active Ohio or IMLC license preferred.
• Recent clinical experience within the last 12 months required.

Pediatrix covers travel expenses (flight, rental car, mileage, lodging) for those outside a commutable distance and malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.

Per diem benefits include access to Employee Assistance programs. PTO, holiday, and other compensation are not provided for per diem team members.
