Job Summary:

Ohio University is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven professional to serve as Regional Recruitment Manager for the Southern campus, leading undergraduate recruitment efforts across all six regional campuses within an assigned territory. In this highly visible role, you will represent both the regional campuses and the University, shaping and executing recruitment strategies that connect students to a wide range of academic pathways.

Working in close partnership with Undergraduate Admissions and Regional Higher Education leadership, the Regional Recruitment Manager will play a key role in driving enrollment outcomes through data-informed strategy, personalized engagement, and strong community connections.

As the primary recruitment leader in the region, this position will design and execute territory-specific recruitment plans that build meaningful enrollment pipelines from local schools and communities to OHIO’s regional and Athens campuses. The Regional Recruitment Manager will represent the University at high-impact events, develop trusted relationships with students, families, school counselors, and community organizations, and serve as a knowledgeable guide through the admissions process.

This role is central to helping students understand and navigate their options and or identifying the pathway that best supports their goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in college admissions, academic advising in higher education, college student personnel, or counseling or teaching in secondary schools; demonstrated interpersonal and written communication and public speaking skills. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills. Ability to work collaboratively. Data analysis experience.

The incumbent is able to represent the University in a professional and positive manner and abide by the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s Guide to Ethical Practice in College Admission.

Ability to travel independently including overnight and internationally. Ability to pass background checks, university judiciary review, and regular driving history audits.
