The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education prepares graduates who are called to lead. We are seeking an instructor to teach courses in curriculum and instruction for the summer 2026 semester on the Athens campus. Positions are part‑time, non‑tenure track, and do not include benefits, except for sick leave and retirement.

Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses on campus and/or online.
• Contribute to the instructional mission of the Teacher Education Department and Patton College of Education.
• Use Canvas for academic engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in the field or comparable.
• Current or prior teaching license.
• Experience using technology for teaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of theory and research‑supported best practices for teaching and learning.
• Experience and expertise in Teacher Education.
• Evidence of professional training or attendance at conferences and/or presentations.
• Ability to deliver online instruction.
• Experience teaching in higher education.
