Position: Foundation Program Instructor - Athens Campus, School of Art + Design (POOL POSTING)

Foundation Program Instructor – Athens Campus, School of Art + Design

This is a pool posting for potential instructor positions for Summer 2026 and the Academic Year 2026‑2027. Applications to this pool will be used to fill non‑tenure track Instructor positions designed to deliver in‑person courses at the Athens Campus for our Studio Art Foundations Program during the 2026/2027 academic year.

Responsibilities

Deliver in‑person Studio Art Foundations courses at Athens Campus.

Qualifications
  • Minimum: A Master’s Degree in Art and Design (or related field) by the start date of appointment, or equivalent education and experience per Ohio University policy 18.001.
  • Preferred:
    Ability to develop/update course curriculum and delivery materials/modes.
  • Experience with Adobe CC:
    Photoshop, Illustrator, In‑Design.
  • Experience with Learning Management System/Platforms.
