Instructor of Physics, (Part-time, Non-Tenure Track) (Pool Posting)

Applications to this pool will be utilized to fill part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible instructor positions in the Physics and Astronomy Department at Ohio University. The selected candidates may teach PHYS
4031/5031 or other upper-level undergraduate courses. On-campus instruction requires up to four hours in-class instruction per class per week and an additional hour per week for office hours. Ohio University. Established in 1804, Ohio University is an R1 institution and the oldest public university in the state of Ohio. Our total enrollment is over 28,000 students across the state and online.

About 20,000 of those students are undergraduates studying at our residential campus in Athens, a quintessential college town.

Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics or related field, and relevant teaching experience at the university level.

Preferred Qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience as an independent instructor at the university level.
