Success Advisor

Ohio University is hiring a Success Advisor. The role involves providing one-on-one academic advising and career coaching to students, developing graduation plans, and collaborating with university stakeholders to support student success and post-graduate career readiness. The Success Advisor engages with students from diverse backgrounds, delivering comprehensive support throughout their academic programs and promoting retention strategies.

• Provide academic advising and career coaching to assigned students, including degree planning and career exploration.
• Develop student graduation plans and track progress toward degree completion.
• Collaborate with faculty, campus staff, and external stakeholders to enhance student support services.
• Assist with campus retention efforts and student orientation activities.
• Use student development theories such as appreciative advising and career theories.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years related professional experience or equivalent.
• Preferred qualifications:
  
  Master’s degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Communication, or related field.
• Compensation range: $44,592 to $74,196 annually, exempt status, full-time regular position.
