Job Description

Summary:

The Assistant Director of Alumni Success is a key contributor in the development and execution of innovative engagement strategies to foster lifelong connections between Ohio University students and alumni. The Assistant Director will develop and promote programs and initiatives including the Alumni-Community Platform (Bobcat Network), mentorship programs, and career, life-long learning, and professional growth opportunities in support of the Ohio University Alumni Association's and Ohio University's strategic goals and objectives.

This individual will develop and deliver programs and manage relationships that support the OUAA's strategies for alumni success and continued engagement with Ohio University. The Assistant Director will represent the Association to a broad audience of alumni, donors, university partners, and administration.

Summary:

Provides professional expertise to the University community. Serves as a resource and guide to others in the department and/or university. Completes operational tasks essential for the daily functioning of the University. Additionally, contributes to larger projects or initiatives that align with department or University goals, often collaborating across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Pay Rate:
Target hiring range for this role is $43,888.00 to $51,377.00 and the final offer will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience in relation to the minimum qualifications for the position.

Work Schedule:

This position works year-round and is typically expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some after hours, weekend, and holiday work may be required. Flexplace and flextime arrangements may be available for this position. Additional expectations:
The successful candidate will have the willingness and ability to travel for events and programs.
