Department Summary
- Ohio University College of Business, invites applications for up to two full-time Success Advisors in Business Academic Advising and Career Success (BAACS). The positions are based on campus in beautiful Athens, Ohio and are expected to begin as early as September 2026. These positions are currently term appointments and may be renewed for up to three years.
The Success Advisor is a member of an integrated college team providing individual academic, career, and related support to College of Business students as they progress through their academic program(s). The Success Advisor provides a supportive environment of educational and career needs by ensuring students follow their approved course of study by building relationships with students while also guiding their career interests and reviewing pathways to graduation.
The Success Advisor will engage students in planning for post-graduate success by bridging the gap between developing educational programs and events and maintaining key liaison relationships with university stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5 or more years of related professional experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in CSP, Education, or related field.
Pay Grade - 16
Pay Range - $44,592.00-$74,196.00
