Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Logistics Engineer Intern in the Athens, TX facility for the Summer starting in May of 2026. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What do you get to do in this position?- Assist in the implementation and optimization of logistics automation solutions to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.
- Work with maintenance team to identify failure modes, propose and implement solutions.
- Assist Maintenance Engineer with updating maintenance tracking software.
- Work on AGVs, semi-automated Pick module, auto-conveyors and auto-wrappers.
- Participate in projects related to safety, quality, sustainability and productivity.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of logistics technology and software solutions to support automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and trends in logistics automation and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Have some experience with Tableau, Power BI and analytical tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain concepts is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Insight into industry practices and tools.
