Logistics Engineering Intern

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Logistics Engineer Intern in the Athens, TX facility for the Summer starting in May of 2026. This position is on-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

• Assist in the implementation and optimization of logistics automation solutions to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.
• Work with maintenance team to identify failure modes, propose and implement solutions.
• Assist Maintenance Engineer with updating maintenance tracking software.
• Work on AGVs, semi-automated Pick module, auto-conveyors and auto-wrappers.
• Participate in projects related to safety, quality, sustainability and productivity.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of logistics technology and software solutions to support automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Conduct research on industry best practices and trends in logistics automation and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Have some experience with Tableau, Power BI and analytical tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain concepts is a plus.
