Associate Dean, Enrollment and Student Success - Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine

Ohio University is hiring an Associate Dean, Enrollment and Student Success at the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. The role leads enrollment, admissions, financial aid, student affairs, academic progression, wellness, career development, and student engagement initiatives to ensure a comprehensive, student-centered experience from recruitment through graduation. The Associate Dean develops strategies to recruit, support, and retain osteopathic physician students dedicated to serving diverse Ohio communities while ensuring institutional compliance and collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Lead enrollment and student success strategies, advising senior leadership on related matters.
• Manage strategic enrollment planning, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and retention efforts.
• Oversee financial aid administration and compliance, aligning with affordability and graduation goals.
• Direct student success initiatives including academic progression, wellness, professionalism, and crisis response.
• Lead career development, residency advising, and student engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with COCA accreditation standards and institutional policies, overseeing assessment and continuous improvement.
• Manage budgets, resource allocation, staffing, and institutional planning within the Heritage College.
• Require a Master’s degree plus 10+ years of professional experience and 7+ years of supervisory experience; terminal degree preferred.
• Experience preferred in strategic enrollment management, budget management, accreditation, and leadership within medical education.
• Salary range: $130,010 to $178,764 with comprehensive benefits including tuition waiver, insurance, retirement contributions, and paid leave.
