Engineering Technician
We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support the assembly, testing, and evaluation of advanced mechanical and electromechanical systems. This is a hands-on role working closely with engineering and technical teams in a precision manufacturing and laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components, subassemblies, and mechanical systems according to engineering procedures and production schedules.
- Support testing activities by preparing equipment, conducting performance testing, and collecting data.
- Document test results, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings to engineering teams.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, drafting, and machine shop personnel to complete project objectives.
- Assist with process improvements, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel occasionally within the U.S. to support manufacturing, integration, and customer-related activities.
This is a direct-hire, full-time position hiring immediately. The schedule is day shift, weekdays, but some flexibility on the start/end times. 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pay is $21 per hour. Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or technical training required.
- 0-2 years of relevant mechanical, manufacturing, laboratory, or technical experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and similar test equipment preferred.
- Proficiency with common hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to leverage AI and technology tools to improve productivity and work quality.
