Licensed Practical Nurse – Full Time

What you’ll do- Support adults in a residential setting to develop independent living and social skills.
- Work directly with assigned consumers, implementing personal and behavior plans; help with hygiene, medication management, food preparation, budgeting, and social interactions.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment and de‑escalate crises.
- Model professional behavior and transport consumers to appointments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized service plans, document progress, and maintain facility cleanliness.
- Administer nursing procedures (e.g., oxygen, sterile dressing, catheter insertion, medication administration, first aid, CPR, restraints).
- Maintain medication accountability records, observe and document patient conditions, and prepare related reports.
- Provide general nursing and direct‑care assistance, vital signs, personal grooming, bathing, and therapeutic education.
- Assist and train lower‑level direct‑care staff and precept new LPN staff.
- Order medication and supplies, clean nursing station, perform clerical tasks, and ensure ward security.
- Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Proof of completion of an approved course in medication administration.
- Preferred: certification in IV Therapy for dialysis treatment.
- Experience in behavioral health, basic medical procedures, mental health, and nursing.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, cultural awareness, building trust, emotional intelligence, confidentiality.
- Official transcripts for all post‑secondary education (must be submitted before offer).
