Kimes Nursing and Rehab is seeking an exceptional Interim/Contract Director of Nursing (DON) RN to provide strong clinical leadership at our skilled nursing facility. This is a short-term contract assignment, with the length of the engagement to be determined based on the needs of the facility.

We're looking for a proven nursing leader who can hit the ground running, inspire teams, stabilize operations, and drive clinical excellence from day one. What You'll DoProvide hands-on leadership for the nursing department.

Ensure exceptional resident care and regulatory compliance.

Mentor, coach, and support nursing leadership and staff.

Oversee clinical operations, staffing, quality measures, infection prevention, and survey readiness.

Partner closely with the Administrator and corporate clinical leadership to achieve operational and clinical goals.

Identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions.

Help create a positive culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and excellence.

What We're Looking For Current RN license in Ohio.

Previous experience as a Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting.

Demonstrated success leading teams through change, growth, or operational challenges.

Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey processes, and quality measures.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to quickly assess situations, prioritize effectively, and execute with confidence.
