Clinical Faculty, PMHNP Program Track Director, Graduate Nursing

The Ohio University School of Nursing invites applications for a Clinical Faculty, Program Track Director position for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) graduate program track. This faculty appointment includes curriculum and administrative leadership responsibilities for the PMHNP program and is aligned with academic rank and compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Program Track Director provides academic and operational leadership for the PMHNP track, ensuring program quality, regulatory compliance, and student success.

This role collaborates closely with graduate program leadership, faculty, staff, and clinical partners to support excellence in teaching, learning, and continuous program improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
  • Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current APRN certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Eligibility for APRN licensure in the State of Ohio prior to start date
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical practice experience as a PMHNP
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching or precepting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (DNP or PhD in Nursing)
  • Experience in graduate nursing education, particularly PMHNP programs
  • Experience in curriculum development or academic leadership roles
  • Experience with program assessment and accreditation processes (e.g., CCNE)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience building psychiatric-mental health clinical partnerships

Pay Rate
- Commensurate with experience and credentials, candidates may enter as an Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Clinical Professor. The salary range for this position is $96,904-$109,103 and is accompanied by our generous university benefits such as tuition for self and dependents, a comprehensive insurance package (including but not limited to health, prescription, vision, dental, and life insurance), an excellent retirement plan including company contributions, parental leave, adoption reimbursement, and more.
