School of Nursing - Athens Campus - BSN Fixed-Term Instructor, Academic Year  (Pool)

Applications will be accepted into this pool posting for School of Nursing Adjunct Faculty for the Athens campus BSN Program to fill positions as need arises for the  academic year (August – May). The positions require individuals to be on campus in Athens, OH or on site at clinical placement facilities located in southeast OH, central OH, and/or western WV. These positions are not remote teaching positions.

• Provide instruction, supervision, guidance and counsel to undergraduate nursing students in relation to BSN program objectives.
• Plan and supervise student learning experiences.
• Evaluate student progress.
• Record and report as required by the School of Nursing.
• For those involved in clinical supervision, meet the requirements of the assigned clinical facility, including up-to-date immunizations, clear FBI and BCI background checks, drug screen testing, and lifting requirements (≈50 lbs).

• BSN or higher degree required by start date.
• Minimum of two years (24 months full‑time equivalent) of clinical nursing experience in the United States.
• Current unrestricted Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Preferred: MSN degree.
