Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Position SummaryThis position will be based in the Histology Lab of the Department of Pathology in the College of Veterinary Medicine. The main responsibilities will include routine histology to include trimming diagnostic lab biopsy cases. In addition, this position will serve as a backup for the Necropsy Lab in the Athens Veterinary Diagnostic Lab.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies- Education, Experience, Licensure, etc:
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills (including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel) and experience with digital photography highly desirable.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and record/track various items.
- Manual dexterity, lift up to 50 pounds.
