Unarmed Security Officer (Parkersburg Regional Office)
St. Moritz Security Services, Inc. seeks a dedicated Unarmed Security Officer for a prominent healthcare facility in Athens, OH. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff within the healthcare environment.
Schedule: Part-Time | Varying shifts
Pay: $18.36 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine patrols of the healthcare facility and its grounds.
- Monitor security cameras and alarms to detect and respond to unusual activity.
- Assist in enforcing the facility's policies and procedures related to safety and security.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when needed.
- Control access to restricted areas and ensure only authorized personnel enter certain locations.
- Provide a professional presence by assisting staff, patients, and visitors, offering support when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities.
- Provide assistance with emergency evacuations when necessary.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain an Ohio Guard Card and meet the qualifications for security officers in Ohio.
- Clean drug screen

, and physical exam clearance
. - Must have at least 2+ years of security experience
, and/or a combination of the following:- Law Enforcement experience
- Military experience
- Associate Degree in a relevant field
- Crisis intervention experience
- Behavioral Health experience
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or MOAB (Management of Aggressive Behavior) training is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to respond to situations calmly and professionally, especially under pressure.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential risks or security issues.
- Ability to work independently, yet also collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
- Must be dependable and punctual, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
