Warehouse Associate, Second Shift

Schedule

Sunday–Thursday 2:00PM to 10:30PM, or until the work is completed with overtime.

Warehouse Operations Associate. Supports Cardinal Health's mission to provide essential life‑saving drugs to hospitals and doctors by managing receipt, storage, and shipment of sensitive products.

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality control checks, packing and inputting product information.
• Prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross‑train in multiple warehouse areas such as order picking, outbound dock, renal fluid packing, IV fluid packing, and automated storage and retrieval system.
• Perform housekeeping, inventory control, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate material handling equipment (order picker, pacer/counterbalance, reach truck, pallet jack, walkie rider) and obtain required certifications.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures, quality guidelines and processing paperwork accurately.
• Work under moderate supervision, refer complex problems to supervisor.

• No prior warehouse experience required; basic training provided.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, processing documents).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50lb, bend, reach, stoop and stand for at least an 8‑hour shift.
• Comfortable working at heights of 25–30ft regularly.
• Ability to work overtime and at the specified schedule.
• Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, limited supervision, customer‑satisfaction emphasis.
• Understand and follow policies, procedures, and correct paperwork.
• Adaptable, good multi‑tasking, verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience with RF scanners, voice‑to‑pick, MHE preferred.
• Computer or POS system experience a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
