Assembly

Reports to: Production Superintendent

Uses hand tools or machines to assemble products. Conduct quality checks. Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools. Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

• Assembly of product with the use of pneumatic and power tools
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
• Follow company procedures and directives.
• Inspect finished product for defects.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

• Concern for quality, accuracy, and safety
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage own time efficiently to meet production.
• Positive attitude
• Ability to work well with others, including peers, management, outside vendors, representatives, customers, and visitors.

• Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy machinery.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs repetitively.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment when in the manufacturing area, including, but not limited to, safety glasses and safety shoes.
