- Facility has two campuses providing emergency, inpatient, outpatient, skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatric behavioral health, and advanced wound care services.
- Unit profile includes 14 beds with patient ratios of 1:5+.
- Patient population serves all ages.
- Common diagnoses and treatments include bowel obstruction, hip fracture, cholelithiasis, appendicitis, and post partum care.
- Must have skills/experience include IV placement, NG tube placement, and fundal checks.
- Preferred skillset includes Med/Surg experience.
- Professional and team player personality fit required.
- Dress code allows any scrub color; no camo or non-Starr Regional logo shirts/sweatshirts.
Job Details
- Must have 2+ years of experience in the specialty (OB/GYN/Med Surg/Post Partum/Pediatrics).
- Certification and licensure required to work as an RN in Tennessee.
- Must have BLS certification.
- Required certifications include ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS.
- Must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to assignment start date.
Job Requirements
- 36 hours per week guaranteed.
- Weekend hours every other weekend or as needed.
- Call requirements as needed.
- Orientation is bi-weekly on Mondays.
