Registered Nurse

Starr Regional Medical Center in Athens, TN is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals and families across a variety of clinical settings within our comprehensive healthcare facility. You will be responsible for performing thorough patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, administering medications and treatments safely, and closely monitoring patients’ responses to interventions.

Working collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, you will help coordinate care throughout the patient’s stay, support safe and timely discharges, and ensure continuity of care.

As a Registered Nurse at Starr Regional Medical Center, you will utilize evidence-based practices and clinical judgement to prioritize and manage a dynamic patient assignment, respond to changes in patient condition, and elevate concerns appropriately. You will maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, adhere to infection prevention and patient safety protocols, and actively participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.

A key part of this role is providing education, emotional support, and clear communication to patients and their families, helping them understand diagnoses, treatments, medications, and follow-up care.
