American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications along with a TN or compact RN license.

• Emergency Department setting in an acute care hospital serving all ages
• 14-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Uses Med Host EDIS for charting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a 6-on/8-off rotation
• 36 guaranteed weekly hours including 24 weekend hours
• Every other weekend required
• Floating as needed
• No on-call requirements

• Active RN license valid in Tennessee (Standard or Compact)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Prior ER experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to assignment start

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a 2-hospital system community setting
• Reports to the Director of Emergency Services
• Professional demeanor expected; casual attire not permitted, scrub color is flexible
• Bi-weekly orientation held on Mondays at the facility
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible for travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
