Position: CDL‑A Plant–Warehouse Shuttle Driver (Automotive Parts)
A day on our automotive shuttle

You start with a pre-trip inspection, check your route, and roll a clean CDL‑A tractor between our production plant and off‑site warehouse. Loads are a mix of finished goods and raw materials. You back confidently into docks, verify instructions, and keep right on schedule. When the team needs a hand, you hop on a Hi‑Lo/forklift to move pallets safely. Throughout the shift, you log drive time, follow DOT rules, and report any defects or incidents so equipment stays road‑ready for the next run.

What you’ll handle

Maneuver semi/industrial trucks safely; plan routes and meet delivery timelines.

Operate a Hi‑Lo/Forklift to support Shipping/Receiving in the plant and warehouse.

Shuttle finished product and raw materials between facilities.

Inspect tractors, trailers, and material‑handling equipment; perform basic preventive maintenance checks.

Document and log driving time; collect and verify delivery paperwork.

Comply with DOT and company policies (size/weight limits, route designations, parking, etc.).Precisely position equipment for loading/unloading; report defects, accidents, and violations.

Pitch in with additional tasks to keep operations flowing.

Noise level

Moderate, with traffic and operating presses/machinery. Ear protection may be required.

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.
1+ year as a commercial CDL‑A tractor‑trailer driver; prior OTR and/or local work strongly preferred.

Active, clean CDL‑A, current registration, and valid DOT medical card.
