Job Summary

A Lube Technician performs vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters
  • Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels
  • Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the Service Advisor liaison
  • Complete multipoint inspection worksheet
  • Maintain value, quality, and integrity
General Company Related Duties and Responsibilities
  • Report to work within acceptable time frames and company standards
  • Maintain appropriate degree of professionalism towards customers and coworkers
Qualifications
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must be able to lift items up to 50-75 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and computers.
  • Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Preferred, working knowledge of car parts and the tools used for cars.
  • Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
Working Conditions

The employee will work indoors and outdoors in an auto shop environment.
