This contract opportunity is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who thrives working with elementary students and enjoys flexible, part-time hours. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills, empowering them to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
EssentialQualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
- Experience working with school-age children, particularly ages 3-11, is highly valued
- Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices within school environments
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Deliver direct treatment and support to elementary-aged students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in implementing IEP goals targeting fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Track student progress and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Adapt activities to promote student participation and achievement
- Maintain clear documentation in line with school and district protocols
This part-time contract runs ASAP through May 30th, with a schedule of 2-3 days per week. You will be primarily working with elementary students, making a real difference in their daily school experiences.
