Are you a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Shop Supervisor to lead production teams, drive operational excellence, and help create a safe, productive, and positive workplace.
In this role, you'll oversee daily manufacturing operations, support employee development, ensure production goals are met, and champion safety and quality throughout the facility.
What You’ll Do Lead and Develop Your Team- Provide daily direction and support to production employees.
- Communicate company updates, safety information, and production goals.
- Coach employees and assist with performance development.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement.
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and corrective actions when necessary.
- Review production schedules and communicate priorities to the team.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards.
- Adjust staffing and resources to maximize efficiency.
- Help resolve manufacturing challenges and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in operational meetings and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Conduct and coordinate safety, quality, and productivity training.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and material traceability requirements.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements when needed.
- Review production and operational data.
- Prepare reports on productivity, equipment performance, and staffing.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall performance.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production processes.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
- Additional technical, manufacturing, or leadership training.
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with production reporting systems.
