Overnight Registered Nurse (RN)

- Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
- Schedule: 12-hour overnight shifts | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Hourly Pay Range: $35 – $50 per hour (based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced Overnight Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and patient care during night shifts in a post-acute and long-term care setting in Athens, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a stable overnight schedule and the ability to practice with autonomy and confidence.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care during overnight hours.
- Perform resident assessments and exercise independent clinical judgment.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with care plans and provider orders.
- Respond to overnight clinical issues, changes in condition, and emergent situations.
- Coordinate care with on‑call providers and facility leadership as needed.
- Supervise and support LVNs and CNAs as applicable.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Required
- Active, unencumbered Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Ability to work consistent overnight shifts.
- Strong assessment, decision‑making, and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or rehabilitation settings.
- Prior overnight or charge nurse experience.
