Licensed Vocational Nurse

Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team at the Henderson County Jail. Night shift offers the opportunity to provide attentive, patient-focused care while working with a close-knit healthcare team in a structured, supportive environment.

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and nursing assessments
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the Registered Nurse or Provider
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Respond confidently to urgent and emergent healthcare needs
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and correctional personnel
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while following established clinical protocols

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team
• Excellent critical thinking and organizational abilities
• Correctional nursing experience is welcomed but not required; comprehensive training will be provided for nurses new to correctional healthcare
