Registered Nurse – ICU

Job Summary:

The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing specialized critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. They monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize signs of patient deterioration.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in critical care procedures and equipment.
• Able to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Have current healthcare compliance and travel clearance.
