Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in Medical Surgical/Tele provides comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, delivering safe and effective nursing services. This role requires collaboration with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor vital signs and observe for signs of deterioration.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State or Compact nursing license in good standing.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing.
• Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Display strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Be able to work 12-hour night shifts effectively.
