Schedule
- Shift: Nights – 3x12 or 4x12 (block schedule approved)
Requirements
- License:
State or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (TNCC preferred)
- Experience:
Minimum 2 years; travel experience required - EMR:
Experience with Epic
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a critical care setting.
- Monitor and manage patient hemodynamics, including arterial line management and central line/PICC care.
- Administer medications and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips as needed.
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal and monitor procedural sedation.
- Interpret diagnostic tests, including ABG and dysrhythmia assessments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care teams and collaborate with various support services.
Compliance / Notes
- Pre-approved time off: 1 - Orientation: 24 hours
- Must complete core items/labs within 48 hours of contract signing.
- Previous facility staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
